COMPUTER SKILLS COURSES
This is a progressive series of courses starting with complete beginners and moving on to more advanced levels. Learners will be able to join courses at the appropriate level if they have the required skills.
Computer Skills - Beginners
Start to learn about computers from the very beginning. The course covers switching on, using the mouse and keyboard, basic word processing, accessing the Internet , sending email and saving and printing your work.
Pre-assessment No previous knowledge or skill is required
Progression Learners could continue with a Computer Skills - Next Steps or Computer Skills Taming
Your Computer course. Alternatively learners could enrol on an Internet and Email course. Learners who wish to study for a qualification could enrol on a CLAIT Level 1 Certificate for
Computer Users course.
